1. Honeycomb Ceramic Regenerator for HTAC

In the early 1990s in regenerative burners, the rise of high temperature oxygen-depleted combustion technology, also known as High Temperature Air Combustion (HTAC) technology, generally received an effect such as 30% energy saving, output increased by 20%, NOx emissions well below the environmental protection standard. Honeycomb ceramic regenerator is a key component in the HTAC technology, widely used in steel, machinery, building materials, petrochemicals, non-ferrous metal smelting and other industries such as heating furnace, hot-blast furnace, heat treatment furnace, cracking furnace, roasting furnace, forging furnace, radiant tube burner, melting furnace, soaking furnace, bell furnace, oil gas boiler furnace, etc.

Ceramic honeycomb has many advantages such as small size, light weight, large surface area, high refractoriness, high heat capacity, low air flow resistance loss, and so on. Compared with regenerative ball, honeycomb ceramic is more difficult to plug straight airflow path; honeycomb ceramic regenerative chamber volume also significantly reduced, a sufficient amount of burners can be arranged to meet the needs of the thermal load. Honeycomb ceramic can guarantee temperature uniformity, rapid heat transfer, low oxygen combustion, significantly reducing oxidation loss and NOx gases generated, significantly improving environmental protection and energy-saving effect.

Influencing factors about honeycomb ceramic regenerator heat transfer performance: honeycomb body pore size and wall thickness; honeycomb body length; reversal time; gas flow rate; material properties of the honeycomb body; air feeding efficiency, etc.

2. Honeycomb Ceramic Regenerator for RTO/RCO

RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer), its principle is that the organic exhaust gas is heated to 760 degrees Celsius, and then the VOC oxidized and decomposed into carbon dioxide and water. Oxidation generated high temperature gas stored heat in the honeycomb ceramic regenerator for heating the subsequent entering organic exhaust gas, thus saving fuel consumption for heating exhaust gas. Its exhaust gas decomposition efficiency is more than 99%, and heat recovery efficiency is more than 95%. RTO main structure consists of combustion chamber, ceramic regenerator and switching valve.

Yuanying ceramic honeycomb has good thermal stability, good crack resistance, low pressure loss, low thermal expansion coefficient, high water absorption, good corrosion resistance, big surface area, and so on. It is very suitable for used as heat storage material in regenerative incinerator, and has been widely used in RTO/RCO devices at home and abroad.

Infrared ceramic combustion plate is the core component of the gas infrared heaters, on its 65 * 45mm area on evenly arranged thousands flame paths, flame path wall coated with high quality combustion catalyst.
